The event is convened around one of the most significant documents of our time — Magnifica Humanitas, the recently published papal encyclical by Pope Leo XIV, which addresses artificial intelligence, the future of work, truth, power, war, care, and human freedom. These are questions that belong to all of us.

🎙️ Joseph Draycott
Head of Religion and Spiritual Life and Teacher of Philosophy at Marymount International School Rome; Choir Coordinator at All Saints Anglican Church. His reflection focuses on the evolution of Catholic Social Teaching on war and justice.
🎙️ Medi Volpe
Moral Theologian and Director of Research at Wesley House, Cambridge; Visiting Professor at the Angelicum. She will bring perspectives on human dignity, Imago Dei, and care.
🎙️ Ettore Iorio — our member 🤝
A lawyer specialising in AI law and data protection, he holds a Master’s in Applied AI and Law from the London School of Economics.
He works at Accenture and collaborates with Prof. Oreste Pollicino at Università Bocconi. He also serves as a member of the EU Task Force on the new AI Strategy.
At Global AI, he is a leading voice for ethical principles in AI regulation.
🎙️ Matthew Harvey
Assistant Principal and Director of Ethos at Marymount International School Rome. He will offer educational perspectives on the themes raised by the encyclical.
